Paperclip Companies is a catalog for the Paperclip platform. Each entry is a team of AI agents with reporting lines (a CEO, directors, specialists), a set of skills, and governance settings. You import a team and run it.

Most companies are built from existing open-source skill collections, such as gstack, Superpowers, Trail of Bits skills, K-Dense scientific skills, ClawTeam and Claude-Code-Game-Studios. The repo repackages each one as an org of agents, and the README links back to every source project.

The teams are domain-specific: engineering shops, a security auditor, a science lab, an investment analysis team, a game studio and a consultancy. The README text is cut off partway through, so details of the later entries are thin.

## What it does

- **16 ready-made companies**: Each folder holds a team with agents, skills and an org chart image. Sizes range from 4 agents (Superpowers Dev Shop) to 167 (Agency Agents).
- **Real org structures**: Agents are arranged with reporting lines and delegation, such as a CEO, CTO, QA and release roles, not as a flat list.
- **Skills reused from other projects**: Companies carry workflow skills taken from known repos, for example test-driven-development, code-review and morning-brief.
- **Domains beyond coding**: Teams cover security auditing, scientific research, investment analysis, product management consulting and game development.
- **One-line import**: Each company has an add command, for example npx companies.sh add paperclipai/companies/gstack.

## What you could build

- Import a software dev team with CEO, CTO, QA and release roles to work on a codebase.
- Run a security review using the Trail of Bits Security company.
- Set up a game studio team of agents for an indie Godot project.
- Try a research team that surveys literature and designs experiments.
- Study the org charts and skill lists to learn how to structure your own agent team.

## Who it's for

Suits people already using, or willing to try, the Paperclip platform who want a starting team; you should know basic agent and CLI concepts first.

## Get started

Install and set up the Paperclip platform, then pick a company from the table and run its add command. The README also shows a company import command that points at a local folder.

```
npx companies.sh add paperclipai/companies/gstack
```
