Product managers rely on many frameworks: opportunity solution trees, assumption mapping, lean canvas, RICE, PRD templates. A general chatbot tends to give loose text. This repo packages each framework as a skill file that an AI assistant loads when the topic comes up.

There are three layers. Skills are single-purpose knowledge files, such as writing a PRD or running a pre-mortem. Commands are slash workflows that chain skills. For example, /discover runs brainstorm-ideas, identify-assumptions, prioritize-assumptions and brainstorm-experiments in order. Plugins group skills and commands by area, like discovery, strategy or execution.

It is built for Claude Code and Claude Cowork. The skill files use the common SKILL.md format, so they also work in Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Cursor and Kiro. The slash commands are Claude-specific. Codex installs them but does not run them as commands.

## What it does

- **Nine plugins by PM area**: Plugins cover discovery, strategy, execution, market research, data analytics, marketing and growth, go-to-market, a general toolkit, and shipping AI-built code. You can install all of them or pick some.
- **Chained slash commands**: Commands such as /discover, /strategy, /write-prd, /plan-launch and /north-star string several skills into one process. After each one finishes, it suggests the next command.
- **Framework-based skills**: Skills include Opportunity Solution Tree, Lean Canvas, Business Model Canvas, Porter's Five Forces, SWOT, PESTLE, a PRD template, OKRs, sprint planning and retros.
- **Skills load automatically**: Claude loads a skill when it fits the conversation. You can also force one by name with /skill-name.
- **Works beyond Claude**: Skills can be copied into the skills folders of Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Cursor and Kiro, or installed in Codex through its plugin marketplace command.

## What you could build

- Run a full product discovery cycle on a new idea, from brainstorming to experiment design.
- Draft a PRD from a feature idea or problem statement.
- Build a nine-section product strategy canvas or compare Lean Canvas with Business Model Canvas.
- Summarize an interview transcript into jobs-to-be-done, signals and action items.
- Prioritize a backlog or a batch of customer feature requests with RICE, ICE or an Impact x Risk matrix.

## Who it's for

Suits product managers, founders and students who already use Claude or Codex and know basic PM terms like PRD, OKR and JTBD.

## Get started

In Claude Code, add the marketplace, then install the plugins you want. In Claude Cowork, use Browse plugins, add a marketplace from GitHub, and enter phuryn/pm-skills. Then try a command like /discover with your idea.

```
claude plugin marketplace add phuryn/pm-skills
```
```
claude plugin install pm-product-discovery@pm-skills
```
```
claude plugin install pm-execution@pm-skills
```
