Command-line tool that connects AI agents to 750+ apps and runs multi-step workflows

Agents that use real apps run into the same chores: API keys, OAuth sign-in flows, and each service's own request format. One CLI replaces that with one tool. You connect an app once, and the agent can search for the action it needs, read the docs, and run it.

Every call goes through One's hosted proxy at api.withone.ai. The proxy adds the right credentials, handles rate limits and normalizes responses, so you only deal with a connection key. This means the tool depends on One's service and an account there.

You can also chain actions across apps into reusable workflows written as JSON files. Flows support conditions, loops, parallel steps and small code modules. The init command installs an MCP server into agents such as Claude Code, Cursor and Codex, and access settings can limit what an agent may do.

What it does

  • Connect apps once

one add <platform> opens a browser to authorize an app. one list shows your connections and what each one is allowed to do.

  • Find actions with docs

one actions find takes a plain-language intent like "send an email" and returns the matching action with its parameters and request details.

  • Multi-step flows

Flows are JSON definitions stored under .one/flows/. You can validate and run them, for example to look up a Stripe customer and send a Gmail welcome email.

  • Agent setup and MCP

one init saves your key and installs the MCP server into Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, Codex and Kiro. It can run without prompts for headless or CI use.

  • Access reporting

Each connection reports whether the agent has full access, only certain HTTP methods, or only an allowlist of actions.

What you could build

  • Send an email through Gmail from an agent without handling OAuth tokens.
  • Build a flow that finds a Stripe customer and emails them a welcome message.
  • Give Claude Code or Cursor access to your CRM, Slack or Shopify data.
  • Limit an agent to read-only actions on a connected account.
  • Run a saved cross-app workflow from a script or CI job.

Get started

Run the init command to sign in and pick which AI agents to set up. Then connect an app with one add, check it with one list, and use one actions find and one actions execute to run an action.
