A curated list of guides, skills, tools and plugins for Claude Code users

Claude Code has a growing ecosystem of skills, hooks, plugins, guides and side projects, spread across GitHub and blogs. This repo collects the ones the maintainer judged worth your time, with a short note on each.

The README is organized as a table of contents. Sections include Start Here, From Anthropic, Documentation and Learning, Skills, Agent Orchestration, Memory and Context Persistence, Status Lines, Security, Testing and Linting. Most entries give the author, a one or two sentence description, and badges for creation date, last commit, license and stars.

The README says the list is mid-transition. The current version highlights resources that were not on the earlier one. Older entries are being migrated back over time and are kept, without updates, in a README_ALTERNATIVES folder. It says it favors code quality, security and originality, but those are the maintainer's own claims.

What it does

  • Start Here learning material

Guides, tutorials and primers for newcomers, such as a single-page Claude Code reference, a chapter-based learning path with a quiz, and an essay on writing a good CLAUDE.md.

  • Official Anthropic resources

Links to Anthropic's Agent Skills repo, the Claude Code GitHub Action, a security-review Action, best-practices docs and a cheatsheet.

  • Tooling sorted by topic

Sections on skills, agent orchestration, memory and context persistence, and usage and cost monitoring.

  • Wide category coverage

Further sections cover status lines, alternative clients, remote control and voice, design, security, infrastructure, testing and linting.

  • Activity badges per entry

Many entries show created date, last commit, license and star badges, so you can judge how maintained a project is.

What you could build

  • Find a beginner guide to learn how Claude Code, CLAUDE.md, hooks and subagents work.
  • Browse community skills and plugins to extend your own Claude Code setup.
  • Discover status lines and usage monitors to track sessions and cost.
  • Look up Anthropic's official repos, such as Agent Skills and the GitHub Action, for running Claude Code in CI.
  • Compare orchestration and memory tools before choosing one for a multi-agent workflow.

Get started

Nothing to install. Open the README on GitHub, start with the Start Here and From Anthropic sections, then use the table of contents to jump to a topic you care about.
